Scheduling time on the Pickleball & Tennis Courts (PB&T Courts) at the Rec is done by accessing our court reservation system powered by YourCourts. The reservation system can only be used by current Members of the Diamond A Recreation Association.
The reservation system is accessible via your web browser by clicking the link directly below, or via an app installed on your mobile device. You can download the YourCourts mobile app from the App Store or Google Play using the buttons below.
Note: First, you must register with The Rec to use either the online or app version.
Once you have registered, click here to enter the Diamond A Court Reservation System
Please click here to register for the Diamond A Rec Courts. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide your name, member email address, and phone number. This information is required.
Alternatively, you can register within the YourCourts app on your mobile device. Open the App and press the Register button. In the "Club, Community, or Facility where you want to make reservations" box, type in "Diamond A Recreation Association" to identify the facility you wish to access. Normally by the time you start typing the word "Diamond", you will find our courts. Currently, you do not need an "Club Access Code" if asked for one. Follow the prompts to register.
Once you are in the system, you can augment your profile with additional information if you wish. Upon submitting your registration request your application will be sent to the Rec for approval. Rec volunteers will get to your application as quickly as they can, but it make take a few days.
The reservation system is intended to:
Prevent the situation where members arrive at the courts and find them in use
Serve as a communication tool to enable players to better organize their plans and make good use of the courts in a cooperative manner
Ensure that a maximum number of Members get court time during peak demand periods
Only Diamond A Recreation Center Members may use the scheduling system to reserve court time.
No sharing of passwords is allowed. Each member must register and receive their own password.
Reservations can be made in 30-minute increments for up to 90 minutes of play. Members can only reserve 90 minutes or court time each day.
The system allows Members to make reservations for today, and up to fourteen days in advance. To make a reservation, login to the system and click on the Reservations button. This will take you to a calendar showing you available dates and times. Select the court and time you wish to play. You can also use the Quick Book button to search for dates and times.
If possible, include the names of the other Members joining you on the courts so we can keep track of usage. We also request that you add your guest’s names. Per the Rec Rules, only Members and up to 6 guests per household are allowed to use the courts. This keeps the Rec in line with 501(c)7 guidelines.
Once you select a court, make sure to confirm your reservation date and time of play before leaving the online scheduling site. Once reserved, the system will send a confirmation to your email with the date and time of the court reserved. All email confirmations will include a calendar invite that you can download and share. Members can also share reservation times with other Members through the system.
Members can edit and/or cancel their reservation at any time up to the start of the reservation. If you decide that you cannot play at the time you reserved, please access the system promptly and cancel your reservation. This frees up the court so it can be reserved by other players.
When you arrive at The Rec courts, please wait until your reservation time to take the court if it is already in use. Inform those playing that you have the court reserved and allow them to finish their current game. If no one is on your court, just take the court and start play.
Once your reserved time is up, if no one is there to claim the court, you are welcome to continue to play as long as you want. However, if someone shows up late to claim the court, you are obligated to yield the court. If the Member claiming the court does not have a reservation, we ask you to yield the court if you have already played the time you reserved. If you did not reserve the court and you have played at least 90 minutes, the Rec’s default “courtesy” time period, we ask you to yield the court.
Members are welcome to play anytime that the court is not reserved. For example, one could play in the morning at a time you reserved and then play again later in day, when the courts are not reserved. And one can continue play after 90 minutes if no members have arrived to play.
