A limited list of public agencies that provide services to Diamond A, in unincorporated Sonoma County.

SoCo Connect

SoCo Connect is a contact management system for submitting service requests, monitoring progress and sending photos to the County of Sonoma. Any user can create a SoCo Connect account, and then submit a service request. SoCo Connect can be used to report a wide variety of code enforcement, roadway and signage issues.

Roads and roadside conditions in Diamond A

Hazardous road conditions

Use use SoCo Connect to report a wide variety of roadside hazards including:

• trees fallen on the road

• potholes

• landslides

• downed signage

• abandoned (dumped large objects, such as appliances, beds or jet skis

Abandoned vehicles

• For vehicles on public streets and highways, contact the California Highway Patrol (CHP)

Lost or stray pets

The law requires reporting of any stray dog or kitten that you find in Unincorporated Sonoma County to Sonoma County Animal Services (SCAS) within 24 hours. (from SCAS FAQ).

Note: There are no ordinances pertaining to cats because they are free to roam, so SCAS does not accept healthy, altered or ear tipped cats.

Permits for construction and land use

Sonoma County requires permits for numerous construction projects ranging from building a new home to installing solar panels. Permits are required for alterations in use of land including for special events, and changes in grading.
